Hello readers! We are approaching the end of July. For me, this month has felt longer than all the others by far!
How has everyone’s reading been going this July? Mine has been slow, but I’m really enjoying what I’m reading. 🙂
If you don’t know WWW Wednesday a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read, are reading, and will read next. You can do this EVERY week, or as often as you like.

What are you reading?
This book is about 3 Moms who have children that go to the same school. They all have very different paths, but are struggling with different parental issues.
The story begins with a murder taking place at trivia night, but we are kept in the dark of who was murdered. Then, are sent back in time a few months so we can get some background.
I am 85% through this audiobook and will be finishing it today. I think I’m going to give it 3 stars, but the ending may change my opinion! I wish the audiobook had different narrators for the 3 different perspectives, but I like it nonetheless.
What did you read last?
This book was a wild ride! Yearbook is a memoir by Seth Rogen. There are various short stories in it about drug use, meeting different celebrities, and working on movies and TV shows. This book was undoubtedly hilarious and it was fun to learn about his life.
I did start Jim Carrey’s book after this, but it was told in a biography format with a ton of metaphors, and that style just isn’t for me.
What will you read next?
Sometimes I go through Libby and see what the newest books are and just put them on hold. It was finally my turn for Maya and the Robot. I don’t know what this is about, only that it’s a middle grade.
This book came out a week ago yesterday and I’m excited to try the audiobook out. I have been neglecting middle grade books (and audiobooks) for a few months now and I want to jump back into it.
I have an e-ARC of this one on my Kindle from Netgalley. It comes out August 17th and is a rivals to lovers romance centered around a baking competition In New Zealand. I LOVE baking and food in books and I cannot wait to read this one!

I really enjoyed Battle Royal! It’s such a sweet story. Though I also had a hard time reading it because I couldn’t stop thinking about cake, haha. I hope you enjoy it!

One of my favorite tropes is books that have food or food competitions, so I’m sure I’ll love it.
I’m happy to see you loved it, too!
