Hello readers! How has everyone been this month so far? My month has been hectic, but I’m getting reading in here and there!

This week I was dropped as an affiliate from Amazon, HOWEVER, I was also FINALLY accepted as an affiliate through From this post on, I will have links for instead of Amazon. Unlike Amazon, supports independently owned bookstores! By supporting them, you support indie books stores.

Before we go any further, I want to disclaim there are affiliate links and ads within this post. When you use my links, you will be supporting my content and I will make a small commission.

I just started Caste. All I know about it, is that it’s about civil rights in America. I think it talks about how certain things about us, that we cannot control, define how our lives will turn out.

I am reading this for the bimonthly communiread book club! This is a book club that focuses on non-fiction, which I always want to read more of, but don’t always prioritize.

I just finish Vampire Mountain this morning. This is the 3rd book in the Cirque Du Freak series. I think this one is the best so far, but I know the next book was my favorite in the series!

Cirque Du Freak is about a boy named Darren, who becomes a vampire due to a bad choice he makes involving a poisonous spider. I absolutely love this series and am really enjoying my reread of it!

The next book in the series has a trope I really love, which is trails, so I’m excited to read that one this month, too!

Next, I’ll be going right back to my Bookoplathon TBR and reading the 2nd book in the Murderbot Diaries.

This series is about a genderless cyborg named Murderbot, who has been hacked and now is a bit too human. If anyone finds out that they have human emotions and can control their own thoughts, they will be destroyed, literally.

Murderbot is such an interesting story. I really hate scifi, especially the kind that takes place in space or with spaceships, but Murderbot made me love this book anyway! I love books that challenge my own tastes and prove me wrong.
