All My Finished Series (Part 1)

Hello readers! Today’s post is all about the series I have finished. This is going to be (at least) 2 parts because we have a lot to cover. I’m doing this in order of the first series to most recently finished, so we are going to touch on some series I finished around 10 years ago first.

Today’s post is usually a WWW Wednesday, but I haven’t read ANYTHING. I had a really bad IBS/GERD flare up AND pulled a muscle in my back today. HOWEVER, I hope to have one up NEXT wednesday.

I plan on showing all the books in the series, giving you guys my average rating of the whole series, the year I finished it, and then a description plus my feelings on the series.

Average Rating: 3.75

I think I finished this series in 2011. I know Midnight Sun is now part of the series, but I’m counting it anyway. Twilight is one of the 1st series I ever read that got me into reading. I basically read exclusively vampire books in high school and I really miss the trend!

Average Rating: 4.5

I read thisentire series in one month back in 2011. I started it right at the end of the school year, so I was desperate.Cirque Du Freak is one of my favorite series of all time.

This one follows Darren. He has to become a vampire due to a consequence of something he does in book 1. This entire series spans over many decades in Darren’s life as a vampire who looks like a kid.

Average Rating: 4.0

All of these books are within the same world, but are made up of 3 different series, plus a few novellas.

The main series, The Night Huntress series, follows Car. She is a half-vampire, but also a vampire hunter. She goes out to the bar at night and seeks out vampires to kill. This is also a paranormal smutty series. When I read this series for the 1st time, I was 19 and didn’t know smut existed in books. I was shocked, but I ended up binging so much of this world.

I have been considering a reread. I have all these books on my Kindle, and there are more that I have yet to read.

Average Rating: 3.0

I had a roller coaster of a time with this series. I didn’t really enjoy Divergent, but I loved Insurgent, and Allegiant is one of the worst books I’ve ever read.

Average Rating: 3.7

The Hunger Games was one of the biggest series back when I read them. However, I don’t really like this series. I don’t DISLIKE it, but its not a favorite for me. I tried to get rid of my copies once and my husband took them. HE really loves them and that’s all that matters, lol.

Average Rating: 4.3

All of these books take place in the House of Night series’s world. This was my favorite series as a teen! I am a bit behind on the follow up series, but I will eventually read it.

House of Night is a vampire YA series following a girl who becomes a vampire. The way of becoming a vampire is a bit different in this series. It has to do with being marked and tattoos. I know this series is a product of it’s time, but I loved it as a teen and it holds a special place in my heart.

Average Rating: 3.9

A Series of Unfortunate Events is such a good series. It’s a classic among kids series. I have read this series all the way through more than once, which I cannot say for any other series.

I highly recommend watching the show on Netflix if you haven’t! It is really food.

Average Rating: 4.3

The Maze Runner series is such a good one! I really loved books one and three, not book two, though.

This was one of the most popular series back in the dystopian era. It continues to be one of my faves!

This one follows Thomas. He stars out in an elevator and has no memory. He is dropped into this experiment with dozens of other boys. He wants to be a maze runner. Each morning a few boys will run through this maze that surrounds the place they’ve been dropped off. If they don’t make it back in time, they will be killed by creatures that roam it at night.

Despite being a HUGE fan of Harry Potter as a kid, I didn’t read these books until adulthood. I HATED reading as a kid. Some of you might know that. I owned a copy of this entire series my whole life, but never read them! I’ve also read the Higwarts Library series, which I think I did read as a teen.

I was actually rereading them a few years ago before JK Rowling ruined it for everyone. HP was a huge part of my childhood, but this author is a terrible person.
