Hello readers! Today’s post is a WWW Wednesday. I haven’t done one this year yet. Looking back, the last time I did one of these posts was July 2022.
I hope everyone had an amazing Valentine’s Day. I went to the movies for the first time since Christmas of 2021 and saw Knock at the Cabin. It’s based on the book Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay. I really didn’t like the book, but the movie really added some things I thought the book was missing.
If you don’t know, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read recently, are currently reading, and will read next. You can do this EVERY week, or as often as you like.

I have 50 pages left in Finlay Donovan is Killing It. I really didn’t know what to expect from this book going into it, but it is really good. It has cozy mystery vibes and I haven’t read enough of those.
It follows Finlay, who is an author. She is talking with her agent in a Panera when a woman overhears her discussion. This woman thinks Finlay is a hitman and hires her to kill her husband.

Come Tumbling Down is the 5th book in the Wayward Children series. I decided to reread the four books in the series I had read this month and continue it. This is the first one I haven’t read before.
Basically, this series follows many different teens who are thrown out of an alternate world. They go to Elenor West’s Home for Peculiar Children in hopes they will make it back to the world they came from. There are vampire worlds, worlds make of candy, worlds where everyone is dead, or mermaids. Just about anything you can think of exists in this series. Some take place in the other world and others take place in the school.

This is a sequel I never expected, but am happy it exists! Zoe gets a letter from her father, who is in prison, on her twelfth birthday. He says he is innocent and she journeys to prove it. He went to prison when she was a baby and has since never met her.
There was this part in book one about a food competition that went nowhere and this book follows her starting a podcast to help start a restaurant. I’m happy we get to see that foodie aspect that book one just left out.

I love the Finlay books so much! I just finished the third one a bit ago.

I’m hoping to read all of them this month! Which one was your favorite of the three?

Ohh… I loved the first one because it was such a surprise and not at all what I expected. Although, this third one was really good too. I like where it’s headed and all the characters that are involved now.
